Sabine Cibert creates contemporary textile art that sits at the intersection of architecture, landscape, and pure geometry. A former architect and urban planner, she has translated the rigor of built structures into the suppleness of textiles to create what she calls “textile scores.“.
Her work is a quest for “inhabited slowness.” Each piece is the result of a lengthy, time-intensive process requiring hundreds of hours of handwork, transforming the textile material into a vibrant surface that engages in a dialogue with the surrounding space.
