Technique: Hand- and machine-assembled textiles, hand-quilted on a canvas base with a silk core.

Description: Following on from Espace-temps 5, a triptych in which the onlooker mentally fills in the spaces. Close to the curve, the rectangle fragments into six squares, letting the pattern undulate. The squares placed over the assemblage are twice as small. Cut from silk produced in Lyon and featuring a Fifties graffiti print, they alternate between the top and undersides.

The quilted horizontal lines introduce relief, spaced according to a geometric sequence.
