Technique: Hand- and machine-assembled textiles, hand-quilted on a canvas base with a silk core.

Description: A collection of men’s suiting textiles topped with a curling doodle evocative of Kandinsky’s black and white canvas Trente together help foster universal motion. Close to the curve, the rectangle fragments into six squares, letting the pattern undulate. The layered bazin squares are twice as small.

The graphic quilted spokes of two off-centre circles provide relief, drawing the onlooker’s gaze.
