Description: 42 schoolchildren and eight adults produced these textile columns on a garden theme. The first step was to analyse garden colours in photos, then transpose the children’s perception using colouring pencils, on cardboard prisms on a scale of 1:2. The children learnt more about abstract art as they mastered new textile techniques and volume building.

Project initiated by the Grézieu-la-Varenne media library and executed by 9-year-olds from two Georges Lamarque primary school classes.
