Technique: 7,140 4-cm squares sewn together with a relief pattern, hand-quilted onto a cotton base with a silk core
Description: A relief assemblage of “pixels” undergoes metamorphosis, filling the space up. The onlooker’s eyes are attracted in turn by blurred and HD effects, discerning a discreet yet solid light. Holding the three layers together, the quilting traces the spokes of an off-centre circle, bringing graphics with relief and shifting the viewpoint.
