Description: Atmen means “to breathe” in German and is derived from the Ancient Greek for “steam”ἀτμός which has also given us “atmosphere”. Comprising three works from the Dawn series, Atmen links the macrocosm of the earth’s atmosphere to the microcosm of its inhabitants’ breath. The colour draws the eye downwards in a circular swoop, at a steadfast, unbroken pace like breath, like Qi.
