Technique: 23 blocks of 459 textiles squares, hand-assembled in three dimensions, and two 459-square blocks assembled with a smooth finish.

Description: From the trickle of a liquid cooling, as if halted by the temperature or the wind, the composition of Hiver 2 was drawn as a mirror image of Hiver 1, on a smaller scale. The colour range has taken on a greener hue and the finer mesh reinforces the grid effect.
The dotted lines of quilting accentuate the scale effect.
In the bottom-left corner, the contrasting texture of the two blocks assembled in classic fashion, contrive to produce a watermark effect, like a throwback to another, smoother cap of ice.
