Sabine Cibert is a visual artist working in textiles, now exhibiting her immense textile scores at the University Jean Moulin Lyon 3. An explosion of colour begat from painstaking construction based on geometry and a plethora of dovetailing motifs featuring subtle optical illusions, a dazzling blend tapping into Bauhaus influences as well as traditional arts and crafts (ancient quilting techniques, molas produced by the Guna, and Japanese kimonos and prayer mantles known as kesas).
